Rio Ave FC is a Portuguese professional soccer club founded in 1939 in the city of Vila do Conde. Since its inception, Rio Ave FC has played an important role in the careers of players such as Ederson Moraes, Marcelo, Del Valle, Hassan, Fabinho, Krovinoviv, Kéo Jardim, Vinícius, Jan Oblak, Gil Dias, Rúben Semedo or Galeno; and coaches such as Nuno Espírito Santo, Pedro Martins, Luís Castro, Miguel Cardoso and José Gomes.
